I have loved k.d. lang's music for years. And I have loved watching her develop into her own person.
Many years ago I had the joy of seeing her in concert - in London, Ontario. She came out dressed all in black and BAREFOOT!
I love the way she sings Hallelujah - in my mind no-one does it better than k.d. And yet, this is a song that has been stuck in my head for the past few days.
I decided to look it up online. I found recordings of her when she first started out and was quite uptight and stiff. This performance is from 2012 where she's much more comfortable in who she is and you can see she's having a ball with the audience.
